The data, from the Higher Education Statistics Agency’s survey, also shows that around eight out of ten of the graduates agreed that their degrees had given them the skills they needed and that their current work or study was a good fit with their long-term career plans.

Commenting on the survey results, Professor Debra Humphris, Vice-Chancellor of the 茄子视频, said: “Our ethos as a university is to equip our graduates with the practical wisdom they need to be successful and to make a positive difference in society. Employability and the practical application of skills and knowledge is embedded in all of our courses. We are immensely proud of what our graduates go on to achieve and these survey results are a testament to their hard work, resilience and ambition.”

Clare Dawson, the university’s Head of Employability, said: “We encourage and support all of our students to get as much out of their university experience as possible in terms of building the future career path they want to follow. And they can continue to access our services after they graduate. The economic impact of COVID-19 will make life tough for our current graduates, but we will continue to do everything we can to support them.”

The survey results also show that around 77% of the graduates were working in highly skilled roles compared to a sector average of 71%.

This is the first year that the Graduate Outcomes survey, which replaces the previous Destination of Leavers of Higher Education survey, has been published.
